Dear Monica Diaz san,
Thank you for the question e-mail.
Although, we regret to inform you that Tokyo Ryokan is fully booked out for the nights you have requested (EXCEPT a tiny-small-four-person-room only for the nights of 9/14in-9/23out including the night of 9/22 if you meant???).
To meet your original inquiry, just for your information, we think that Taito Ryokan ( http://www.libertyhouse.gr.jp/ ) is very good choice with authentic wooden style which was built some 60 years ago here in Tokyo (meaning a bit of nicely-aged-run-down compare to our new born house, so you like it or not is depending on person by person, usually children like it a lot). Because of the fire-restriction and anti-earthquake rules these days, there won't be such a nice timber-made building like Taito Ryokan any more in any future here in downtown. It'd be outstanding experience for you if you were flexible and open-minded to share happiness with other(s).
If you were looking for "cheap" place only to consider price/rate, apart from above, we sincerely do hope that you could find a suitable accommodation in the same district called Taito-ku (where Asakusa and Ueno are located) through http://www.tokyoryokan.jp/ and/or http://www.purple.dti.ne.jp/tokyoryokan/accommodation.htm . Please note that each place has different quality and unique service with various rate/price.
Wishing you have a wonderful day and super voyage in the far east islands.
Or, should you be interested in booking the four-person-nine-night (9/14in-9/23out), we will be more than appreciated if you could send us an e-mail again after confirming your minds to face some difficulties that all 6 of you would not get together in same accommodation, so that we can get back to you with updated information (available offer). Then after that, please note that we would like to ask following procedure in order to secure the booking. Please note that we do not take any credit card.
aaa. Monica Diaz san sends Tokyo Ryokan an e-mail after confirming minds.
bbb. Tokyo Ryokan e-mails Monica Diaz san an offer with bank detail.
ccc. Monica Diaz san transfers the whole amount (charges/fees are to be due to sender, please) into Tokyo Ryokan's bank account.
ddd. As soon as Tokyo Ryokan recognizes the sum reached, Tokyo Ryokan sends Monica Diaz san a confirmation e-mail.
Condition (please note) : No change the reservation, no refund. Refund will be possible only if the space to be filled by another party, in which case, transaction fee/charge is due to guest (not to Tokyo Ryokan).
Thank you very much for your understanding and cooperation with small ryokan surviving in downtown Tokyo.
Yours sincerely,
Fusako at Tokyo Ryokan
PS : Please note that this e-mail is not confirming nor holding any space yet.
PS : Or, we sincerely do hope that you could find a suitable accommodation WITHOUT actual payment (most of them accepts a credit card) through following web sites. Indeed, Tokyo Ryokan is unusual, unique, one in thousands sort of family own ryokan (semi-retirement) in downtown Tokyo. No offence, please, but if you were not fond of the pre-payment procedure even with the condition (please refer to the condition above mentioned), here is to consider alternatives, please (^_^)
